Explor Resources Inc.

TSX VENTURE: EXS

Jun 10, 2008 10:29 ETEastford Lake Gold Project Discovery Hole: Explor Drills 12.7 g/t Au Over 7.5 M on Eastford
ROUYN-NORANDA, CANADA--(Marketwire - June 10, 2008) - Explor Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:EXS) is pleased to announce that the two (2) additional holes that were drilled on the Eastford Lake Gold Project following the completion of the Phase IV diamond drill program have been completed. The property is situated in the Kerrs, Warden, Milligan Townships and the Rayner Lake area, south-west of Lake Abitibi, Ontario, 90 km east of the Timmins-Porcupine gold mining camp. The Eastford Lake Property consists of 170 contiguous unpatented mining units for a total of 3,100 hectares.

Previously drilled Holes #5 and #6, along with the geophysics created a vector pointing in the direction of a 600 m long magnetic low along strike of the previously announced gold intersections (press release dated May 06, 2008). Hole # 7 targeting the 600 m long mag low has been completed on the Lynx Gold Zone with the following fire assay results as determined by Swastika Lab of Swastika, Ontario:

Hole # From To Interval Gold-------------------------------------------------------------------- (m) (m) (m) (ft) (g/tonne) (oz/ton)Hole # 7 Zone 1 404.0 411.5 7.5 24.6 12.7 0.370

Two sets of check assays have confirmed these results. Subsequent to the assays being received, 10 additional meters of core on either side of the intersection have been sampled and sent to the lab for assay. The lower 4 meter section contained VG (Visible Gold) has been sent to the lab for analysis. The results for hole #8 which has been drilled 800 meters to the north of Hole #7 are pending. True width has yet to be determined.

The combination of widespread ankerite alteration and gold mineralization hosted by many different rock types, including quartz-feldspar porphyry, altered ultramafics, tholeiitic basalt and metasediments are reminiscent of the diverse types of gold mineralization found in major gold camps (e.g. Hollinger-McIntyre System and Dome Mine in the Porcupine Gold Camp).

Explor Start Drilling Kidd Township Property

Last Update: 5/20/2008 4:00:45 PM

ROUYN-NORANDA, CANADA, May 20, 2008 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Explor Resources Inc. (EXS) is pleased to announce the mobilization of a 5000 meter Diamond Drilling program on the Kidd Township Property located in Kidd and Wark Township in the Porcupine mining division, district of Cochrane, province of Ontario.
The Kidd Township Property is located in the south central part of Kidd township 1.5 kilometres south east of the Kidd Creek mine site. The property is approximately 20 km north of the city of Timmins, Ontario. Excellent access is provided by Hwy 655. The Kidd Township Properties are contiguous, strategically located and cover an area that totals 1,948.3 hectares. The most obvious topographical feature in the area is the Kidd Creek open pit approximately 2.5 km to the north north-west of the property as well as a series of sand eskers. The property is located in a greenstone belt composed mainly of sequences of meta-volcanic rocks cut by faults and deformation zones that lie in a nw-se direction. Also there are many suites of mafic volcanic rocks.
A recent interpretation of an airborne VTEM Time Domain EM and Magnetic Survey has revealed a series of untested airborne anomalies on the faults to the southeast of the Kidd Mine property. The Kidd Creek Mine located to the north west of the property is known for Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag production. The Kidd Creek mine has produced 130,000,000 tonnes of base metal ore since it started production in 1966. The presence of Mafic and Felsic rocks with anomalous zinc and copper make this an exploration property of merit.
Explor plans on conducting a two phase exploration program. Phase I is designed to better determine the location of the structural targets by Diamond Drilling the Geophysical targets as determined by the airborne survey. Phase II will utilize down hole geophysics followed by diamond drilling to further enhance target definition.

Explor Completes Drilling of Nelligan Nickel Property

Last Update: 5/13/2008 1:52:13 PM

ROUYN-NORANDA, QUEBEC, May 13, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Explor Resources Inc. (EXS) is pleased to announce the completion of the Drilling program on its Nelligan Nickel Property. The property consists of twenty-one (21) Mineral Claims situated in Nelligan Township in the Val-d'Or mining district of Quebec. Covering an area of approximately 1198 hectares, the Nelligan Project is located in the eastern-central part of Nelligan Township approximately 20 km west of the town of Desmaraisville, Quebec.
The Nelligan Property is being explored for Nickel-Cobalt. Previous historical work includes trenching by the Canadian Nickel Company (circa 1960-1970). Grab samples by Explor of up to 2.3% Ni were obtained. The structure was traced over a distance of 1.5 kilometres. The targets were located mostly on a 200 m spacing on an east-west structural trend.
The 2008 Exploration program consisted of a 3838 meters of NQ Core drilling. A total of 19 holes were completed. The drilling has indicated that overall the Ultra Mafic complex is weakly anomalous in Ni and carry locally heavy fine disseminated sulphide mineralization and locally highly anomalous concentrations of Nickel, Cobalt and Cu. The highlights of the drilling include the following two zones:
Nelligan Hole #10; highly anomalous Ni from 13 m to 103 m with Ni values ranging from 400 ppm to 2808 ppm. Anomalous Cobalt of up to 180 ppm were obtained.
Nelligan Hole #16: Highly anomalous Copper at 97.0 to 99.0 m with Copper grade of 1.487% over 2.0 meters.
The property is located in a greenstone belt composed mainly of sequences of meta-volcanic and meta sedimentary rocks cut by faults and deformation zones that lie in a NE-SW direction. The Bachelor Lake Mining Camp is located nearby and is known for its precious metal and polymetallic potential. This property is located directly to the west of the Bachelor Lake Mine and Mill and the former Conigas Mine.

Explor Completes Phase IV Diamond Drilling: Eastford Lake Gold Project

Last Update: 5/6/2008 3:00:31 PM

ROUYN-NORANDA, CANADA, May 6, 2008 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Explor Resources Inc. (EXS) is pleased to announce that Phase IV diamond drill program, totaling 3071 m in six (6) holes, has been completed on the Eastford Lake Gold Property. The property is situated in the Kerrs, Warden, Milligan Townships and the Rayner Lake area, south-west of Lake Abitibi, Ontario, 90km east of the Timmins-Porcupine gold mining camp. The Eastford Lake Property consists of 170 contiguous unpatented mining units for a total of 3,100 hectares
The 2008 diamond drilling program targeted a moderate soil Arsenic anomaly delineated by Enhanced Enzyme Leach (EEL) soil sampling and a strong Soil Gas Hydrocarbon (SGH) suggestive of economic gold mineralization (Actlabs interpretation).
Although economic gold grades have yet to be encountered, numerous gold assays up to 1.62 gpt over 3.5 m have been found associated with disseminated pyrite and quartz/carbonate stockworks within narrow to broad bands of ankerite alteration. Host rocks are altered quartz-feldspar porphyry, basaltic komatiites and pyritic jasperoid cherty sediments. The last two holes, EG-08-05 and EG-08-06 are the most encouraging:
Hole EG-08-05, 785 m in length intersected mixed, bleached, cherty metasediments, quartz-feldspar porphyry, jasperoid cherty sediments, carbonatized and locally fuchsitic ultramafics and bleached tholeiitic basalt. Gold assays included:
0.31 gpt / 3.0 m and 0.37 gpt / 1.0 m in cherty metasediments
1.07 gpt / 1.0 m and 0.84 gpt / 1.0 m in bleached ankeritic ultramafics
1.62 gpt / 3.5 m in jasperoid cherty metasediments
0.22 gpt / 1.0 m and 0.11 gpt / 1.0 m in fuchsitic carbonatized ultramafics
0.16 gpt / 1.0 m in bleached, ankerite and albite altered tholeiitic basalt
Hole EG-08-06, 800 m in length contained ankeritic, bleached metasediments with numerous quartz-feldspar porphyry dykes, weakly to intensely ankerite altered ultramafics, and jasperoid, cherty sediments with abundant secondary pyrite. Gold assays included:
0.31 gpt / 5.0 m in bleached quartz-feldspar porphyry
0.37 gpt / 2.0 m and 0.52 gpt / 2.0 m in pyritic jasperoid cherty sediments
0.13 gpt / 1.0 m and 0.10 gpt / 3 m in ankerite carbonatized ultramafics.
The combination of widespread ankerite alteration and gold mineralization hosted by many different rock types, including quartz-feldspar porphyry, altered ultramafics, tholeiitic basalt and metasediments are reminiscent of the diverse types of gold mineralization found in major gold camps (e.g. Hollinger- McIntyre System and Dome Mine in the Porcupine Gold Camp).
These two holes, along with the geophysics have created a vector pointing in the direction of a 600 m long magnetic low along strike of the gold intersections as well as an untested strong multi-element (W, Mo, base metals) Enhanced Enzyme Leach anomaly. Hole # 7 targeting the 600 m long mag low has been started and has intersected a 40 m long mineralized zone. The drill is presently at 400 meters and 200 meters from the target zone.
The Kidd Township Exploration Program is on track with the geophysical interpretation having recently been received. Once Eastford Lake Hole # 8 is completed (expected Mid May 2008), a press release will be issued enumerating the targets and announcing the start of the Kidd Township Exploration Program.
